The Berlin Wall - Then and Now
Dirk Hexent.
This blog is about the Berlin Wall.
It is about the abduction of a three-and-a-half year old East German child over 29 years ago.
The mysterious circumstances of little Dirk's disappearance almost thirty years ago and the mysterious developments in his unsolved case all point to one answer and one answer only:
He was abducted by the East German Secret Service, called "Stasi" for short.
His abduction is one of only two child kidnappings that occurred in East Germany in the forty years while the Berlin Wall was up.
His mother and her friends are still looking for Dirk who may very well be alive today, living under a different identity without having any idea who he really is.
Heidi Stein, his mother, is 55 today and won't be able to rest - or die - without finding out what happened to her beloved and beautiful little boy.
The German media would like to find that out as well ...
But her decades of searching and our research, which we recently took up with more force than ever before, uncovered a lot more about the Stasi, Stasi victims, Stasi activities and what happened to up to 800,000 inofficial East German Stasi spies, assassinators, traitors of friends and neighbors.
A lot more than she wanted to find out.
Now the German media would like to find out more about that as well ...
That's what this blog is about.
The Berlin Wall then. And now.
We translated it into English so others may find out surprising things and facts about Germany as well.
We started an English blog on www.kaiheidi1.wordpress.com about three months ago.
Someone changed Dirk's picture on the blog from color to black-and-white and distorted it.
Unknown individuals.
Then unknown individuals started to stalk and harass and threaten Heidi. Ordered items in her name, items that seemed to be related to our blog entries (such as a small children's knitted cap, a bookshelf etc.). Applied for traffic accident policies and sent her a wheelchair to her home.
Now THAT definitely interested the German media ...
Since we put all that information and our observations on the German blog, the unknown perpetrators have stopped stalking Heidi for the time being. Hmmm, interesting.
Our American blog was more than likely blocked from being found in the U.S. where there would probably be some more media that would be interested in a child abduction case with a Stasi twist.
Now we started this English blog. The first fortyish entries are therefore postdated and report what happened between September - December 2008.
When we're done updating this blog, we will let you know. The rest will be only a day or so in delay to the German blog and the actual developments in the Dirk Schiller Case (and all the other strange things that are happening in this country) as they happen.
Since most German journalists who read Heidi's German blog (www.dirkvermisst.blog.de) on a regular basis, don't read the English blog, we would greatly appreciate if as many of our English readers could check this here blog once in a while just to make sure it's still there.
That it hasn't disappeared overnight, been deleted for a few hours, changed or distorted ...
Just in case you do notice funny "technical problems" or text deletions etc, please be so kind and send Heidi a comment on this blog (and make sure your comment is still there the next day or so...) or call her. Her phone number can be found on her website www.kaiheidi1.de.
E-mails are not a safe way of communicating with her, since e-mails might miraculously disappear before she finds them in her mailbox.
Somethings strange has happened to her computer since she has started to do her research about this criminal organization that used to call itself "Stasi" ... And there is something funny going on with her phone line as well, that others have noticed, too. Whoever we are dealing with here has obviously the same technical skills that used to be the Stasi's daily bread.
This is a true story. We will prove it to you.
Just bear with us.
Happy New Year - it will be an interesting year!
